Clos la Madeleine is
a very small property of 2.3ha next to Ch. Belair Monange and Ch. Canon. The
award came in 2012 when Clos la Madeleine was promoted from Grand Cru to Grand
Cru Classé. The terroir (clay-lime) has a perfect exposition to the sun. It is
of top quality and delivers wines with a delicate and intense style. The wine
is vinified by the team of Jean Pierre Moueix since 2017, which has improved
the quality of the wine.
