You will find this
top cru on one of the best situated terroirs on the famous plateau of Pomerol.
It is in hands of the Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1953. The variation of
soils gives an exceptional power, depth and complexity to the wine. Half of the
soils consist of mainly gravel on a layer of clay, the other half consists of
dark, deep clay on a bed of ‘crasse de fer’. The vineyard has an average age of
35 years. This wine has a storage potential of at least 30 years.
