The vineyard of Ch. Domeyne has 8.30ha and is
situated around the vineyard of Ch. Calon Ségur. The vines already have an
average age of 40 years and are planted on a beautiful slope with clay-gravel
on a clay-lime subsoil. Since 2006 the chateau is property of Claire Villars
(Ch Ferrière; Ch La Gurgue and Ch Haut Bages Liberal) and her husband Gonzague
Lurton (Ch Durfort Vivens). It is the team of Ch. Haut Bages Liberal who
vinifies the wine and is determined to extend the terroir and the capacities of
this property to the fullest.
