Ch. Bellegrave is a
very small chateau with a vineyard of 8.35ha situated next the great names. It
has a gravel-clay soil (enclosures of the Gironde), typically for Pauillac. The
owners are the brothers Ludovic and Julien Meffre who make a perfect wine for a
reasonable price, just like they do on their domain Ch. du Glana. The wine
ripens for 12 months on oak and there is also a second wine to improve the
quality of the first wine.
