In the beginning of
2016, Jean Baptiste Cordonnier sold his property Ch. Dutruch Grand Poujeaux to
his brother François, after 23 years of vinification. François is well-known in
Belgium because he is responsible for the distribution and sales of the wines
of Jean-Pierre Moueix for our country. The vineyard of 30ha is situated on the
famous plateau of Moulis and is called ‘Grand-Poujeaux’. Here they make the
best Moulis wines. The terroir of gravel is perfect for producing strong wines
of high potential with a beautiful rondeur. Besides, the Cordonnier family is
very down to earth and modest. They maintain reasonable prices for their wines.
