Ch. Malartic Lagravière is one of the leaders within the appellation of Pessac Léognan together with Ch. Smith Haut Lafitte, Dom. de Chevalier and Ch. Haut Bailly. Thanks to the Belgian owner Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie who invested lots and the advices of Michel Rolland, the cru has improved spectacularly the last 5 years. The beautiful terroir that is situated in the heart of Léognan of course plays an important role in this.
