This
wine, vinified by advisor-oenologist Pascal Chatonnet (Ch. La Sergue, Ch. Haut Chaigneau), is one of
his master pieces. The terroir is of excellent quality. 1.2ha next to Ch.
Cheval Blanc and Ch. La Dominique. This wine has no ranking because it is not
vinified at location. This is not possible because there is no chai, nor space
to do it. However, it deserves the ranking of Grand Cru Classé! It is the best
buy based on price-quality. Only 10 cases are available because of the very
limited production. This cru has been ‘coup de coeur’ many times in de Hachette
Guide.
