This is about another wine than CH. La Pointe. Max Silvestrini has a wineyard of 1 ha in the hamlet ‘La Pointe’, just across the street of Ch. La Pointe. The soil is not the same, on the contrary. Dom. De La Pointe disposes of 100% gravel, while Ch. La Pointe has a gravel-sand soil. The wine ripens for 100% in new oak barrels and is one of the best bargains from the appellation.
