2015Château Sénéjac(Red)

The one-piece vineyard of Ch. Sénéjac (39ha) is the height of Le Pian Médoc. It is a beautiful slope with a thick layer of gravel that has been completely drained to improve the quality. A new impulse to better quality started in 1999 when Lorraine Cordier (same owner as Ch. Talbot) bought the property. In 2011, her sister Nancy Bignon Cordien took over the chateau. The harvest of several passages through the vineyard (to optimally pick ripe fruit), a double selection, an ultra-performing cuverie (17 cuvees for parcel vinification) and a soft extraction contribute to the very high quality of the past few years.
