Ch. Loudenne sold

On March 25 it was announced that Ch. Loudenne (Médoc) had been sold to the Gouache family, who also own Ch. Bellerive in the Médoc and are associates in an agri-food business.

The previous Chinese owner (Kweichow Moutai) was not able to get the authorisation of the Chinese government to make the planned investments for the future. The new owner (former accountant) sees Ch. Loudenne as a family project and has high hopes for its biological approach which ensures natural surroundings, healthy working conditions for the staff and products that respect health and environment which he can offer to his customers.

The current director, Philippe de Poyferré, who has been responsible for the rebirth of Ch. Loudenne, remains at the helm.
