At a comparative wine tasting in group in a
restaurant in St. Génes de Castillon, this chateau seemed to be the best. The
wine was 10 years old and still fantastic! Not surprising when you know that
the super duo Stephan von Neipperg (owner) and advisor Stéphane Derenoncourt
vinify the wine here. This is one of the crus that is conspicuously better than
some Grand Cru Classés of St. Emilion, within its appellation situated next to
St. Emilion
