Joseph Phelps is a family-owned winery in the Western Sonoma Coast (Napa Valley) and he was one of the first to invest (with the money he earned in the building and construction business) in 1973. He has become one of the most respected figures in California and his winery has become internationally known for its iconic wines of incredible quality. The wines (cabernet sauvignon and Insignia) were one of the first Napa Valley wines with "bordelese" style (beautiful cabernet sauvignon and a very nice freshness).
