Saint Emilion - Saint Emilion Premier Gr Cru Classe B
Alcohol 13,0 %
Ch. Larcis Ducasse belongs to the Gratiot Attmane family for more than a decade. The wonder team of Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt vinify the wine (as on Ch. Pavie Macquin and Ch. Beauséjour Duffau Lagarosse). The terroir is beautifully situated between Ch. Pavie on the left and Ch. Bellefont Belcier on the right. There are 3 types of soils: lime on the plateau, clay-lime on the slopes and sand on the foot of the slopes. The perfect exposure to the sun and the complexity of the terroirs make of Ch. Larcis Ducasse a complex wine with a lot of characteristics: concentration but refinement and delicacy with a mineral touch. The cru was promoted to St. Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé B in the new ranking of 2012 because of its excellent quality of the last 10 years.
