Saint Emilion - Saint Emilion Gr Cru Classe
Alcohol 13,0 %
This beautiful chateau has a wonderful terroir of 18.5ha partially situated on the plateau and partially on the south-facing slopes of St. Emilion. The story begins in 1852 when Jean-Pierre Beylot built the chateau. In 1953, it came in hands of Armand Moueix and in 2004 he sold it to the Americans Denise and Stephan Adam. Their aim was to bring the chateau to the top of the appellation. The beautiful clay-lime terroir gives a warm, round wine with fine minerality. The grapes are bio certified since 2013. The production is limited (approximately 2500 cases) and the rest (2000 cases) goes into the second wine.
