2018Château Fombrauge(Red)

The white wine of Ch. Magrez Fombrauge is a rare wine coming from a small (2.2ha) parcel situated in St. Christophe de Bardes in the middle of the beautiful vineyards of St. Emilion. As no white wines may be sold under the appellation ‘St. Emilion’, this top wine is given the appellation ‘Bordeaux Blanc’. By this limited production, the owner Bernard Magrez wants to prove that beautiful white wines can be made on this lime terroir. The wine is very aromatic and has a subtle minerality. The yields are extremely low 25hl/ha and the selections are utmost thorough which results in a very rare top quality wine.
