This cru of 34ha which is situated in the north
of the Médoc (St. Christoly) belongs to Bernard Magrez (Ch. Pape Clément, Ch.
Fombrauge, ...). Like on all of his domains, Bernard Magrez strives for
perfection. The wine of this chateau certainly belongs to the top 10 of the
appellation. The vineyard has an average age of 40 years, the vines are very dense
(7500/ha) and the yields are very low (34hl/ha). All this results in a full,
intense Médoc with a good roundness with lots of power and taste.
