This cru of 75ha on
the plateau of Cantenac has the advantage of a magnificent terroir and belongs
to Henri Lurton, one of the sons of Lucien Lurton. He vinifies a beautiful and
fine Margaux to the rules of art, with also a beautiful structure. The wines of
Ch. Brane Cantenac can be stored very well. The proof is a very old millésime
of this wine that I once tasted at the Lurton’s. This chateau has a very modern
vinification system with optical selection, which was good for this year’s
quality.
