This 33ha vineyard belongs to Hubert and Corine
de Boüard de Laforest (Ch. Angélus). With this cru, they show us that top wines
can be made in Lalande Pomerol! The vineyard is situated on the plateau of
Néac, 11.7ha with clay-sand soil and gravel in the subsoil and a second part of
8.5 situated on the plateau of de Lalande, 2.5 km away from Pomerol on a
graveled slope with 10% clay. The yields are kept very low (30 to 45 hl/ha) and
the ripening is done for 18 to 24 months on 80% new oak.
