Only 2.55 ha of the vineyard on Ch. La Mission Haut Brion is planted for a white wine. The wine used to be called Laville Haut Brion, until they changed the name in 2009. Notice the high percentage of Sémillon, which gives grease, volume and aroma of ripe pear to the wine. This wine is a lot cheaper than the white Ch. Haut Brion (in front of the street), while it is vinified by the same team.
