Ch. La Tour Blanche is situated in Bommes, the heart of the Sauternes next to Ch. Sigalas Rabaud. The terroir dominates the Ciron river, a side river of the Garonne. The water contributes to a perfect microclimate, which is needed for the noble rot, very important for a beautiful Sauternes. The chateau always makes rigorous selections in the vineyard and in the cellar. It is worthy of the title ‘Premier Grand Cru Classé’. From 2014, a third wine is produced ‘Les Brumes de la Tour Blanche’, very accessible and less concentrated. This again increases the quality of the first wine, because it now only contains the best of the harvest.
