The grapes of this Griffons de Pichon Baron come from the big terroir of the château, the second wine contains 30% of the total harvest of the 73ha-vineyard of Pichon Baron. The quality of this wine is very comparable to the first wine. I highly recommend this wine! It ripened for 18 months on 60% new oak. The wood is nicely integrated and does not dominate.
