Sauternes appellation; Ch d’Yquem. This top belongs to the Louis Vuitton Moët
Hennessy group since 1999, who bought it from the Alexandre de Lur Saluces
family. This beautiful and impressive château dominates, literally and
metaphorically speaking, the appellation. Not only does it have a big building,
the wine is also of an incredible and exceptional quality compared to other
neigbours. To me, this is the most intense and fine Sauternes with a high
storage potential. The vinification is done by Pierre Lurton, also wine maker
at Ch. Cheval Blanc. This top wine is available in small and big sizes, it is a
true collectors item that can be stored long time.
